Eric's Apartment [evening. Of course it's evening. It's *always* evening with Eric]

After time drinking, watching Tiny mutter to himself, and making light chitchat with Jaina, it was time to get the entire story out of her--or at least as much as she was willing to tell him.

"After you," he said, opening his door (he didn't lock because really. If you tried to rob Eric, you deserved what you got) and ushering her in.

"Oh, was I supposed to be helping with that?" Eric asked.

"It was probably too much to assume that was implied, huh?" she asked.

He linked his fingers together and placed them behind his head, then smirked. "I wasn't the one who wanted to stop sleeping together."

And Eric was not overly familiar with the concept of playing fair.

Jaina had to sit up straighter and turn more to look at him. "Just because I stopped it doesn't mean I wanted to," she pointed out.

And the reasons she could say no were... different now. Thanks for that, Jag. But she was completely single, and wasn't under any obligation to anyone.

"You can always change your mind again," Eric replied.

"I could." It was going to be a huge mess for her to sort through all this stuff once this whole thing was over. "What if I changed my mind for a night?"

Eric's lips quirked up. "You should probably make sure it's a night you're in town, then."

[solo_sword]

She was really relieved he went with that rather than her having to explain what all was going on in her head. "You know, I am in town now..."

Eric grinned. "Then why are you still talking?"

"Because," she said, just to be a brat, then smiled and leaned up to kiss him in a not-so-friendly way.

Or maybe really friendly, depending on your point of view.

This was, it must be admitted, how Eric greeted many of his friends, but, well, Eric.

He pulled her into his lap so he could be more thorough in his kissing.

Happier with this positioning, she started to wrap her arms around him, then changed course and went to go for the bottom of his shirt instead. Look, for all she knew this was the last time she was doing this ever, and in that case he didn't need to be wearing a shirt through any of it.

Well, a vampire didn't work that hard on his abs not to have them appreciated, so the shirt was soon on the floor and he was working quite diligently on having Jaina's follow it.

And hey, this was likely the last time Jaina's would be seen without new and interesting scars, so. So as soon as her shirt was off, her mouth was on his again, and her hands were definitely busy appreciating his abs.

Eric was happy being appreciated! He was also happy when Jaina wasn't wearing anything at all, so he was getting to work on that part too.

If there was anything that required her to move her hands, she was going to be nice and unhelpful about that until she had to be. It'd been like seven months for her, so she was a little focused on all the appreciation she had to catch up on.

It had...not been that long for Eric. Cough.

"Are we trying to break the couch too?" he asked between kisses. "Just trying to get an idea--"

Ho.

Jaina grinned. "Up to you. I'm not picky about what we break," she teased.

And?

"In that case, let's break a lot of things and really annoy my neighbors," Eric suggested.

[solo_sword]

Well this was an easy decision. "I think this is my favorite plan ever," Jaina said.

"I'm pretty smart," Eric said before moving in a way that made the sofa screech in protest.

[solo_sword]

Jaina heard that and had to try not to laugh. "This thing's a goner."

"Probably," Eric agreed with a slightly fangy grin. "Oh well."

[solo_sword]

"Eh. Good way to go out."

The sofa might disagree.

"You or the sofa?" Eric asked, nipping at her ear.
