Eric's Apartment [evening. Of course it's evening. It's *always* evening with Eric]

After time drinking, watching Tiny mutter to himself, and making light chitchat with Jaina, it was time to get the entire story out of her--or at least as much as she was willing to tell him.

"After you," he said, opening his door (he didn't lock because really. If you tried to rob Eric, you deserved what you got) and ushering her in.

"See?" Eric looked very pleased with himself. "I'm smart and stunningly attractive. That's a rare combination."

"Don't forget good with people," she added.

"Tasty, tasty people," Eric replied, nodding.

And that would be Jaina trying not to show that she was giggling, because gross, but for some reason she couldn't not laugh.

Eric grinned at her. "Not as tasty as fairies, but still."

"Not sure I needed that part," she told him.

"I love to educate," Eric lied.

[solo_sword]

"You love to see if you can weird me out," she said, resting her head against his shoulder. She should really get less comfortable at some point.

"That too," Eric agreed.

"Didn't work," she lied.

Eric glanced down at her and laughed. "Sure it did."

"Did you hear any 'ew's? Because I didn't remember saying them," she told him.

"You don't have to say them," Eric said, still smirking.

"Are you a mind-reader now?" she asked, trying not to smirk back.

"No, just been around for a while," Eric replied.

"And you've probably mentioned a lot of times how people taste?" Just a guess there.

"It keeps me entertained on slow nights at Fangtasia," Eric said.

She could so see that. "And here too, I guess?"

"Tiny's not as impressed, but the DJs pee themselves," Eric said, sounding happy.

"We have got to get you a hobby," she said with a little laugh.

"Taunting DJs can be a hobby!"

[solo_sword]

"A hobby that's not taunting DJs!" she countered.

"I'm not going to learn to knit."

[solo_sword]

"Even though it's a hilarious mental image and I'm sure Pam would really enjoy that?"

Said while trying to look really cute since she wanted to pass along that idea to Pam anyway...

"Knitting is much more hard core when you're a vampire," Eric decided. "You're wielding pointy wooden things."
